Our personal approach

Snowslippers differs from the larger tour operators in that we offer a personal, hands-on approach with 30 seasons of local knowledge. Our groups have been returning to us year after year because of the superb organisation, quality service and outstanding care they receive. Our service is totally unique. Our knowledgeable team, including Snowslippers Director(s) are present in the resort, which means our guests have fantastic support. Everyone can speak to us in person on a daily basis.

Many of our reps and ski and snowboard instructors have grown up with Snowslippers. They have come on ski trips with their schools and gone on to work for us in adulthood. They know our service, level of care and culture first hand and have a unique knowledge of the resort and ski area.

Most importantly, over the 30 years of operation, Snowslippers has never had an unhappy group. Quite on the contrary, the groups that have been skiing with us 30 years ago, are still enjoying unforgettable winter adventures with Snowslippers. Ski Amade is one of the largest, most beautiful and technologically advanced ski areas in the world consisting of 270 fast, ultra modern ski lifts covering 800 kilometres of superb ski runs. With excellent snow records and state of art snowmaking, our season runs from the beginning of December until mid April.

Having not had the best experience on our previous trip, you really put us at ease from the moment we arrived and everything ran so smoothly for which we are very grateful. Final reminders for deposits are going out this week. As suggested we have offered the five longer days rather than six. We have been able to gain permission to leave on the Thursday again.   General opinion from the staff group is if Tanja is willing to have us we would love to stay at the Post again.   Once again, thank you and the team, for such a professional service. Hi Dan. Sorry I havnt been in touch sooner – its all been a little busy since we got back! I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to you and all your team for such an AMAZING week!!!The kids loved it (I have had some already sign up again for next year) and the staff thoroughly enjoyed it too. You guys made it so easy for us, Bas was brilliant In terms of organising things (we loved the bowling) and also being in contact all the time – nothing seemed too much. Greg was also fab, he stayed in contact with me, was a great instructor and the kids loved him. The advanced group instructor was brilliant because the kids actually got some tuition, whereas in the past we have found they have just been skiing and haven’t really had a lot of input from the instructor. Any issues were dealt with really quickly and efficiently and we felt like you guys had it completely under control all of the time. All in all, you guys made my life really easy. I didn’t feel like I had a lot to do whilst I was there and that you guys had everything under control and extremely well organised – we could not believe how fast ski fit was! Thank you for all your help with Robbie and Sara when they had to stay behind, it was good for me to know that I wasn’t just leaving them without any support. I CANNOT WAIT until next year and already want to come out again – maybe by then I will have worked out how to make the cap look cool!!

We always receive a personalised welcome from Danijel (Dan) and his team, and there is always a back-up on hand for technical or medical issues. I would like to compliment and congratulate your company, in conjunction with St Richards, for the fantastic skiing trip that Holly was part of. Special thanks should go to Greg for providing calm, measured authority and exceptional diligence in his role as our rep. His professionalism and good humour was appreciated by everyone, most especially the teachers and, of course, his advanced group. I hope that this will be the first of many Snowslippers/Shoreham Academy ski trips. Gary is already planning for next year and will confirm dates as soon as possible.

"We used Snowslippers to organise our school ski trip for the first time in 2006. As soon as we returned to the UK our students were asking about booking for next years holiday. That is a real complement to Snowslippers and their team. The hotel was very friendly and being away from the town of St Johann had advantages for us. Its isolated location in a pretty village meant we were able to monitor the students easily and we were able to use its cellar bar for a range of activities. We appreciated the well maintained, low occupancy rooms; the food was of excellent quality and plentiful. The ski instruction from the Red White Red Ski School was excellent. The daily organisation such as the storing of equipment and the ski and boot fitting was very good." "The evening programmes were full and varied, even the sceptics joined in and enjoyed the Snowslippers variation on skittles. The thermal baths in Bad Gastein are fantastic.
